In May 2010, Ascendant was invited to be one of the session speakers at Hospital Build Asia in Singapore. Here, our president Sergio V. Arroyo spoke before an international audience on how Electronic Medical Records could benefit the healthcare industry across Asia. Afterward, he participated in a conference panel along with a doctor from Germany and an electronic device manufacturer from Australia and they discussed the ethics around managing electronic medical records.

On Feb 9, 2010 Ascendant entered a business competition along with over a hundred hopeful companies. After all the deliberations, it was selected as one of only three winners to be the representatives of the Philippines in an international business competition in Silicon Valley.

Our President Sergio V. Arroyo , was invited by the Philippine Hospital Association of the Philippines to speak at their annual convention at the Manila Hotel in November 2009.
